Comments : I have always had dogs throughout my life - I'm very much an animal lover and a bit of a soft touch - hence my 3 cross breed rescue dogs and 1 stray cat! In March this year I got my first Newfoundland - a little girl who is now nearly 8 months old called Evie.
She is my baby! What a character. Determined,confident,vocal,gentle...andwhat about a dog with attitude!! I dearly love all my animals regardless of breed,but I've got to admit, getting Evie is one of the best things I've done.

Your website is brilliant,gorgeous children...sorry dogs!!! They do get to you that way though don't they - and nearly cost as much!! Love the theme tune!

Comments : I had a newfoundland bitch for 10 yrs, which had been rescued at aproximately the age of 3. She had been badly treat and never brought up the way she should have been. But brought so much happiness to me.Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep a few months ago due to age. But i would advise anyone thinking of getting a dog to get a newfoundland.

Ourselves and our children have done our homework about the breed and it was thrilling to read about your adventure with the breed: the trouble is I want one even more! We know about the grooming, the slobber(we are not houseproud, famously I guess) the size, the water factor and because the children are older (10, 12 and 13) we think it's the right time. : Well, what a wonderful site. Your dogs are just beautiful. Your website caught my eye as it sounds like you live very close to my brother. I am from Canada and originally from Newfoundland and have always loved the Newfoundland breed. Believe it or not, there are not many Newfoundland dogs or breeders left in Newfoundland. I'm not sure why this is, but it's a shame.

We acquired our first newf 3 years ago, a beautiful girl named Dawson. We were hooked. We got her as a pet, but it turned out that she was the pick of the litter. Our breeder was so impressd with her that they decided to show her. In just two weekends, she became a Canadian Champion. Wow what an experience that was. I couldnt' believe how she responded to the handler. It was like looking at someone elses dog. We were so proud of her.

We just picked up our second one this week. He's 8 weeks old and a total cutie. His name is Denver. We plan on showing him as well. I think he'll do well.

It's nice to see that the Newfoundland Dog has made it's way across the world.

My brother went to England to play hockey 25 years ago and made it his home. He married a wonderful girl and has 2 beautiful children. From what I've read, they live close by.

Do you get people visiting to see the dogs?
